Some Working Poor and Middle Class Americans Vote for the Rich to get Richer and the Poor get Poorer
Self Hatred is a Monster United States and the taxpayers who pay their salaries, to further our democracy of, for and by the people in this young country. If Republican policies favoring the wealthy continue to emerge, further shrinking today’s middle class, then reduced overall consumption, more failed businesses, massive layoffs and thus an economic catastrophe will ensue, making our recent Great Recession seem like a walk in the park.
Yet so many folks still vote for Republican politicians, ensuring such a state of affairs remains in perpetuity.
There was a time when every American was a patriot, who proudly supported the government of the United States and worked to improve our government. We were very much a society bound together by mutual needs and common threats against fascism, communism and corporate power.
Low self esteem being deprived living in poverty appears to be OK for some Americans who vote to stay in poverty when they cast their vote for Mitt Romney. Psychopath Republicans no longer fake their disdain for the poor and middle class taxpayers. Over the past decade they have launched a war against these people unprecedented in American history. Secondly, Republicans absolutely hate the President of the United States and use the vilest racial rhetoric in an attempt to remove this man from Office, all at the demise of economic stability for tens of millions of American families. Republicans hate black people, immigrants, Muslims, labor unions, women and homosexuals, but they ‘say’ they are not racist, they say they are not ‘bigots’.Thirdly, they say they are for ‘small government’ but massively expand Federal and State government to take control of women’s bodies, bust unions, remove democratically elected officials and seize control of municipalities. They use the of misled middle-class and poorer folks who voted against their interests for Republicans or failed to vote in last year’s midterm election truly got wall street what they wanted the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The net result of a consequential Democratic shellacking was President Obama’s forced concessions on continuing historically low tax rates for millionaires and billion-Aires as well as agreeing to a watered-down estate tax that only benefits their heirs in order to secure immediate unemployment and long-term middle and poorer class benefits that would be unattainable once the Republican-controlled Congress assumes power.
Republican and some yellow belly democrats Congress intends to slash government programs related to health, education, consumer safety, research, environmental protection and aid to the poor; and reduce payments to cities and states so more cops and firefighters can be laid off and real estate taxes can soar ever higher, stifling a recovering economy and causing more unemployment, thus ensuring a Republican presidential victory in 2012 at the expense of this nation – in summary, putting the screws to the middle class and poor for the sake of the party and a relative few wealthy constituents.
Preserving and enhancing the wealth of an already rich class at the expense of everyone else is the clarion call of today’s GOP establishment. Since about 1979, according to the Congressional Budget Office, inflation-adjusted average household income for the top 1 percent of all U.S. households soared from about $350,000 to $1,300,000 in 2007 despite a temporary downward Preserving and enhancing the wealth of an already rich class at the expense of everyone else is the clarion call of today’s GOP establishment.
